NETWORKING IN DISTRICT LEVEL
In Perambalore District, DMI joining hands with AME (Agriculture Man Ecology) imparted training for the farmers on agriculture, adaptation of seasonal agriculture, utilization of traditional seeds, formation of farmers group and criteria for availing loan.
In Dindugal District, DMI joining hands with Mother Teresa University trained the women on ecology and the need for environmental cleanliness. General health camp for women was conducted in collaboration with Cenard NGO. 35 women from our target area benefited.
In Nagapattinam District DMI in networking with CWM (Christian Workers Movement) provided skill training on candle making for 40 women in Nagapattinam, screen printing for 18 women, catering training for 15 women, note books for 100 children, uniform for 80 children, household articles for 20 Tsunami affected persons, agriculture equipments for 12 members and boat engine mechanism training for 20 youth.

NETWORKING IN TN STATE LEVEL
In networking with TNVHA, we conducted HIV/AIDS awareness camp in Panchyat, Block and District level in the districts of Sivagangai, Perambalur and Salem. In networking with TNWDC, we are organizing women groups and training programmes (including skill and EDP) and helping the SHG members to avail loan for initiating economic activities.

NETWORK ACTIVITIES:

All the district coordinators have been asked to develop networks at the district level.
>> Thiruvallur District networks with Pollution control, Forest Department, Hyundai and companies like Aginamotto, Nokia, St.Gobain, Mobis and MRF for job placement.

>> Dindugal, Perambalur, Salem, Sivagangai districts networks with SENARD, TNVHA,YWCA, CHAT, TMSSS, REEDA for HIV/AIDS programme

>> Perambalur District networks with Agriculture Man Ecology Foundation for - Agriculture Development.

>> Salem District network with CASSA for Child Care and SAI, World Vision for Forest Ration.

>> Nagapattinam District networks with Christian Workers Movement for skill training programme.

>> Kancheepuram District networks with Hyundai, St.Gobain, MRF, Nokia, and Human Rights Department.
